The adolescent trainers (monitors) formation process is designed for students interested in musical and choral teaching. This program aims to train young individuals through monthly meetings and supervised practice within the choirs, with the goal of fostering their development as future trainers.
During this last semester, five participants attended the training consistently, while one had to withdraw due to university studies that no longer allow her the time to attend classes. Among those who continued, one has shown exceptional progress, standing out for her leadership and teaching abilities. She has successfully taken on several substitute teaching roles, demonstrating both technical and pedagogical competence. We look forward to assigning her a group of her own in 2025, further solidifying her role as a trainer within the program.
In conclusion, the monitor training process remains a fundamental tool for promoting leadership and musical teaching among the participating adolescents. The progress observed reflects the positive impact of this initiative, not only in developing musical and pedagogical skills but also in shaping a new generation of artistic leaders who can replicate and expand the program's reach.
We are committed to strengthening this component of the program, ensuring that the monitors receive the support and opportunities needed to continue growing and contributing to the cultural and social impact of choral singing in our communities.
