Hello from Sanski Most!
We hope you all have had a wonderful start to your summer! Summertime has officially begun in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with it comes CIM's annual Peace Camp! We have been hard at work planning for it, and cannot wait!
This year's peace camp will be at the end of August and will take place at the Center for Peacebuilding's Peace Farm and Garden of Opportunities. We held our Peace Camp there last year, and the peace camp participants loved learning about peacebuidling in nature!
This year's camp will also be a reunion camp! CIM has been running peace camp's for over 10 years now, so for 2017 CIM is inviting all former camp participants back to CIM for a peace camp reunion! There will still be peacebuilder trainings, nonviolent communication workshops, and seminars on how to peacebuilders in your own community. CIM will also be adding networking activities to this years camp, allowing participants to form connections to peacebuilders working throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. This will help grow CIM's new peace network project, the goal is to create a map of all groups, organizations and individuals working for peace in the country!
Peace Camp 2017 is looking great, and the entire CIM team is very excited and thanks you again for your generous donations. It's through your support that we are able to make these camps possible!
