Youth for Humanity, Youth for Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, road safety remains a pressing issue, with limited awareness of traffic laws and road safety habits contributing to preventable tragedies on our streets.

To address this issue, Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD) launched the "My Road, My Responsibility" campaign, mobilising volunteers to drive home the importance of safe driving and pedestrian practices. Through this campaign, VBD members engaged directly with local community members, spreading awareness about the importance of traffic regulations and safer road habits. They held interactive sessions, sharing practical tips for both drivers and pedestrians, emphasizing how following traffic rules can prevent accidents and save lives. Their efforts sought to instill a collective responsibility for safer roads under the motto “My Road, My Responsibility,” encouraging everyone to become advocates for road safety.
