"Volunteer for Bangladesh" (VBD), the youth wing of JAAGO Foundation (non-profit, CSO), works for the betterment of society by promoting volunteerism and empowering the youths of the country by equipping them with necessary skills. As youths are the future of any nation, it is essential to prepare them for future endeavours and help shape a better tomorrow. Hence, "VBD" maintains a pool of young volunteers who are the nation's torchbearers, working to transform the country into a better one.
Despite the youth's determination to drive innovation & reformation, misguidance and lack of support can hinder the potential of youth and turn them into burdens for the nation. In an effort to prevent such scenarios, Volunteer for Bangladesh has a pool of 50,000 youth volunteers engaging themselves in different kinds of activation/events/campaigns for community development. However, due to a lack of funding, we struggle to engage more volunteers in humanitarian activities.
Volunteer for Bangladesh is a platform that allows youth from different social backgrounds to come and work together to reduce social and economic inequalities. The goal of this project at GlobalGiving is to raise funds from donors worldwide whose valuable contributions will help us to mobilize the youths. Through this project at GlobalGiving, we look forward to securing proper funding for different social initiatives so we can engage more youth volunteers to work for humanity.
In order to engage youths and ensure they don't get derailed, it's important we equip them with proper knowledge, skills, a sense of responsibility, positive thinking, and confidence so that these future leaders can improve themselves. Your valuable support will help us to reallocate skills and resources to foster self-reliance and growth in every youth, engage them in more projects/trainings etc. Ultimately, in the long run, they are the ambassadors who will be making the world a better place.
