Together We Are Changing Lives: LMF 2025/2026 Impact Update
To Our Valued “LMF Heroes”

Dear Friend,

As our youth farmers joyfully prepare their fields for early planting—tilling the soil, enriching it with their homemade organic manure (a blend of pig and chicken droppings), constructing low planting beds, and carefully irrigating with handheld hoses to allow the manure to cure before sowing seeds—we are reminded that growth begins with preparation.

It is in this same spirit of growth and renewal that I am delighted to share the good news of the impactful work of the Lady Mitz Foundation in Umunoha.

Because of you, 2025 was a year of profound transformation. When we reflect on the goals we set, we see more than numbers—we see faces, renewed hope, and brighter futures. Your donations did not sit idle; they became tangible resources that fed families, educated young people, and strengthened communities across Nigeria.

Here is a glimpse of what your generosity has made possible:

Impact Highlights: Your Generosity in Action

  • 649+ Families Supported with Food Security: During challenging economic times, your contributions provided direct food assistance to more than 649 families in Umunoha.
  • 276+ Youth Empowered: Over 276 young people are currently gaining essential skills, embracing healthy lifestyles, and advancing their education through our specialized programs.
  • Youth Farming Project: We trained 20 youths in sustainable farming techniques, equipping them to cultivate maize and vegetables to feed themselves and their community—reducing dependency and fostering self-reliance.
  • Medical Relief Efforts: We delivered critical COVID-19 relief supplies to the Umunoha Local Medical Center.
  • Over $38,000 Invested: Thanks to our dedicated “LMF Team of Heroes,” we raised and invested more than $38,000 to combat poverty and disease.

“The Lady Mitz Foundation Saved My Life!”

Meet Nnamdi, a recipient of our higher education scholarship:

“The Lady Mitz Foundation has transformed my life. The LMF Team of Heroes helped cover my tuition, housing, and food so I can pursue a higher education. I look forward to graduating and beginning my career so I can help others. I am deeply grateful to the Lady Mitz Foundation for saving my life and the lives of many others.”

“I Owe My Life to the Lady Mitz Foundation!”

Chichi shares her educational journey:

“My name is Chichi. After losing both of my parents and living in poverty with my elderly grandmother and younger brother, the Lady Mitz Foundation supported me in completing high school. I later received an LMF scholarship to attend college. After graduation, my life was transformed—I went from hardship to becoming a positive influence in society. Today, I am happily married with two children and able to support my brother and grandmother. Thank you, Lady Mitz Foundation—you are the best!”

Looking Ahead: The March Momentum Campaign

While we celebrate these victories, the need remains urgent. Many more young people are still waiting for an opportunity to thrive.

This March, we are launching our most ambitious initiative yet: the March Momentum Campaign, including the Little by Little Campaign (March 17–20). During this period, GlobalGiving will match donations at 50%.

  • When you donate $50, GlobalGiving will add $25, bringing your total impact to $75.
  • The match applies to one $50 donation per donor.
  • Rather than donating twice, please consider inviting a friend to give $50 so more matching funds can be unlocked.

Our Goal: Raise $5,000 by March 31.

“Empowerment & Growth” Campaign

Together, we have accomplished so much—but the demand for our services continues to grow.

From March 17–20, during the Little by Little campaign, every $50 donation will receive a $25 match (while matching funds last). We encourage you to give early to maximize impact.

In addition, we are launching our largest campaign yet, focused on:

  • Expanding our Agricultural Training Initiative
  • Providing building materials to renovate the Maternity Ward of the local Medical Center, which offers free medical care to women and children

To achieve these goals, we aim to raise an additional $20,000 by December 31.

Why Support Us This March?

  • GlobalGiving will match 50% of every $50 donated per donor from March 17–20 through our campaign link.
  • $50 provides farming tools for one youth.
  • $100 provides a full month of food for a family.
  • $500 covers a full semester of college tuition.
  • Monthly donations are matched at 100% during the fourth month of recurring giving (as part of GlobalGiving’s matching incentive program).

Your continued support is the lifeblood of these programs. Please consider starting a monthly donation today to help sustain this vital work—and share our mission with others who may wish to make a difference.

With profound gratitude,

The Lady Mitz Foundation Team
Empowering Nigeria’s Youth
