Employability and soft skills for vulnerable youth

Starting 2022, from Fundación Acción Joven, we reactivate with strength our initiatives focused on employability. The context of the pandemic has affected the economy in Costa Rica, generating significant effects on the professional future of many young people nationwide. Therefore, the objective that we propose is to contribute with actions that improve the employability profile of young people, allowing them to adapt to changes in the labor market. For this year, we started with the following actions:

Generate groups to strengthen employability with local governments in the province of Guanacaste, and impact 90 local governments in the country in institutional strengthening.
Work with youth from public high schools in employability workshops.
Execute workshops with young people from the Alternative Sanctions Program of the juvenile penal, on employability.
