We have started with the teaching of employability workshops with the youth of the 17 high schools in Puntarenas, Guanacaste, Limón and San José, with which the Foundation works. The workshops are spaces for a lot of learning, sharing experiences and knowledge that help young people in the transition process from the school to the professional world. The workshops are accompanied by an experience within a company, in order to know the reality, the contexts and new employment and study opportunities. On this occasion we made the first tour with the students of the Professional Technical College of Limon, to the Dell company in Costa Rica.
During the visit they received different talks that allowed them to reinforce the topics seen in Employability (the importance of soft skills, networking, CV and job interview) as well as getting to know the operation of the company up close.
Thanks to your support, students have the opportunity to participate in workshops and tours, thus obtaining unique learning opportunities. From the Foundation we will continue with an arduous work to achieve the goal!!
