The Prince's Trust is a champion of young people, no matter what their background. Despite lives stifled by unemployment, homelessness, being in care or being in trouble with the law, young people can succeed with your help. Be part of The Prince's Trust community that gives vulnerable young people the chance to build a life for themselves. Help to train, mentor and support them to build their skills and confidence.
Many of the young people we help are in, or leaving, care, facing issues such as homelessness, have mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law. According to our Youth Index 2023 a worrying 1 in 4 young people (26 per cent) feel they are going to fail in life. The landscape today is creating concern from the future generation with 57 % of young people reporting the rising cost of living as the biggest worry for their future, with 44% saying they feel anxious about it daily.
Our programmes support young people aged 11-30 facing disadvantage and adversity, helping them develop the skills and confidence for their next step. The benefits are clear, in the past 5 years 3 in 4 young people we have supported have progressed into jobs, further education or training. Our work relies on the generosity of our donors and every young people that we help to thrive are a testament to the difference that your donation can make.
By making a donation to The Prince's Trust you can help give a young person a second chance. We support over 60,000 young people every year, empowering them to believe in themselves again and take vital steps towards a brighter future. We need help to continue this critical work. By working with us you can be part of the solution to the issues young people are facing today and help them regain control of their lives.
