The Prince's Trust is a champion of young people, no matter what their background. Despite lives stifled by unemployment, homelessness, being in care or being in trouble with the law, young people can succeed with your help. Many of the young people we help are in, or leaving, care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law. More than a quarter of young people (28 per cent) do not feel in control of their lives, A third of young people (36 per cent) do not feel in control of their job prospects and more than one in ten (16 per cent) think their life will amount to nothing.
Our programmes help disadvantaged young people in developing valuable skills and gain experience which is vital to making the next step. The benefits are clear, as over 77% of the young people who have attended a Prince's Trust course or programme go into jobs, education or training. Our work relies on the generosity of our donors and our fantastic outcomes are a testament to the difference that your donation can make.
