We are a philanthropic hospital that serves children and adolescents with cancer, who are still part of the risk group for coronavirus and it's new variants. Cancer doesn't stop during pandemic times, and neither do we. Now we are turning to the only person we can count on: YOU.
Chemotherapy is the most effective treatment for cancer, along with the surgery and radiation therapy. However, this treatment also lowers de health immunity of our little patients, putting them at risk in these times of new viruses and variants around the world. All of our institution's fundraising channels and events were affected by COVID-19 in Brazil and worldwide, and still are. This has a big impact in our budget, which can compromise our functioning and care provided to our patients.
