As we have moved forward into 2017, our C.A.R.E. program has rescued an additional 12 elder Goldens. This represents our signature program here at YGRR. We provide unlimited care for Goldens 10 years and over which, as you can imagine, is an extremely costly program to sustain.
We have very special staff and volunteers that make this all work smoothly for these dogs. It is our intention to continue this effort with your help and support.
As a reminder, we are a unique rescue organization in a number of ways. Most importantly, we shelter our dogs at our own facility in Hudson, MA, as opposed to fostering like most rescue organizations. This provides the dogs with a standard of living that we can manage at the highest level. Additionally, it gives us the opportunity to better understand each individual dogs habits, fears, likes and dislikes. This knowledge is paramount in matching each dog with the most appropriate adopter.
As we move forward, we hope you will continue to support our organization so that we may provide these wonderful dogs with the best Forever Homes possible. We would also appreciate it if you would share our story with your friends and co-workers in order to spread the word!
We thank you as always for your continued support,
Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue
