Since 2005, we have been committed to the labor inclusion and personal development of hundreds of women, providing them with the necessary tools to get decent jobs and improve their quality of life. The aim of this project is to accompany and strengthen women who live in conditions of social and economic vulnerability, always working with a gender approach, in the development of employability skills in technology.
Youth unemployment involves the group most affected by the social and economic crisis of recent years. In addition, the IT industry has experienced exponential growth and the gender gap is still clearly unequal.
"Women Programming the Future" is a free course offered by Fundacion Mediapila. The objectives of the course are to provide an introduction to web development and programming, work on personal development, and develop tools to enter and stay in the world of technology. 76% of the women who took the course continued their education in IT as a result of the interest the course generated.
