GlobalGiving Report: From Planning to Impact

By Joy Okoronkwo | Community Manager

We're in the final quarter of 2025, the Women-Led Agri Solutions for Nigeria project is gaining real momentum. What began as groundwork is now blossoming into visible impact — equipping women farmers with mentorship, tools, and training that strengthen livelihoods and foster sustainable agricultural growth across communities.

Key Program Updates

Mentorship & Training Launch
We are thrilled to share that our first cohort of mentors and mentees has officially begun the Women-Led Agri Solutions journey. Each mentee is now paired with an experienced mentor specializing in agribusiness, sustainability, and community leadership. Monthly sessions are ongoing, with topics such as climate-smart farming, record-keeping, market access, and financial literacy.

Capacity Building Workshops
Our upcoming training series will introduce women farmers to hands-on demonstrations, local innovation methods, and cooperative development practices. These workshops will enhance both technical and leadership skills, empowering participants to scale their agricultural ventures sustainably.

Community & Partnership Development
We have continued to grow partnerships with agricultural networks, women-focused organizations, and agritech experts to ensure the program’s holistic delivery. Collaboration with these partners is helping us expand our reach into more rural communities and strengthen post-harvest support systems.

Resource Mobilization & Support
Thanks to donor contributions and community support, we are now preparing for the distribution of farm starter kits — including improved seed varieties, simple tools, and eco-friendly farming materials. This next phase will ensure beneficiaries can put their new knowledge into practice immediately.

Looking Ahead

Our focus in the coming months includes:

  • Scaling mentorship reach across new communities

  • Launching cooperative clusters for women farmers

  • Strengthening access to finance and local markets

  • Tracking impact through community stories and growth indicators

Long-Term Vision

Our mission remains the same — to cultivate a future where women farmers in Nigeria lead the charge toward food security, innovation, and community transformation. Every seed planted is a step toward a stronger, more inclusive agricultural future.

Thank You
Your continued support makes this work possible. Together, we are not only growing food — we are growing confidence, leadership, and opportunity for women across Nigeria.

With gratitude,
