Introduction
As we are entering the second half of 2025, the Women-Led Agri Solutions for Nigeria project is continuing to evolve from groundwork to real-time impact. We are staying true to our mission: empowering Nigerian women farmers with the tools, knowledge, and mentorship they are needing to transform their communities through sustainable agriculture.
Project Updates and Key Activities
We are finalizing foundational work for the program—refining our mentorship model, selecting core training topics, and outlining timelines for full program rollout.
Mentor & Participant Engagement
We are currently recruiting and onboarding a dedicated group of experienced mentors with agricultural, business, and wellness expertise.
We are also engaging in participant outreach and are concluding the mentee selection process, prioritizing women from underserved rural areas.
Partnership Development
We are continuing to build meaningful relationships with agricultural experts, local networks, and support organizations to ensure effective training delivery and market access support.
Resource Mobilization Efforts
While initial funding has been supporting early activities, we are actively seeking additional grants and partnerships to increase reach and provide seed inputs, farming tools, and other key resources.
Next Phase: Implementation
Mentorship Launch – We are preparing to begin mentorship pairings this July, offering one-on-one and group sessions monthly.
Training Workshops – We are planning to roll out hands-on workshops covering:
Sustainable farming techniques
Business and financial literacy
Market access strategies
Resource Distribution – We are coordinating logistics for distributing essential tools to selected women in Q3.
Our Long-Term Impact Goals
We are continuing to aim for:
Improving food security by increasing access to sustainable farming knowledge
Creating more income opportunities for women in agriculture
Strengthening local economies through empowered female farmers
Fostering peer mentorship, leadership, and resilience across farming communities
Conclusion
We are making steady progress and are looking ahead with excitement. The Women-Led Agri Solutions for Nigeria project is not just growing crops—it is growing confidence, leadership, and community strength.
With continued donor support and active partnerships, we are remaining committed to long-term transformation for Nigerian women in agriculture.
Thank you for believing in this mission. Together, we are continuing to build a future where women grow more than food—they grow change.
