Women Empowerment Program in Rural Women

Rural women have been often neglected during the women empowerment initiatives. Joy Foundation wants to initiate this project so that rural women could become involved in the women empowerment initiatives and processes. These rural women need awareness, now more than ever, when the situation of women in Pakistan is getting harder with each passing days. Each day women are being raped, killed and domestic violence have become so common these days. Its a kind of femicide going on in the country, when everyday we hear a new story of a women raped, killed, strangled to death, domestic violence to death, such cases have become so common these days in Pakistan.
Through this project we aim to empower and self-sustain rural women, who are not aware of the situation going on in the country. These women need to be self-sustained and brave enough to look after themselves and the solution to this is a project that targets the self-confidence of women and utilizes their abilities to make them empowered women who can come forward for their rights. We hope we will soon have enough funds so we can commence this project, because it is high time for such initiatives for the safety of women in Pakistan.

Women Empowerment Program for Rural Women

At this time we need support for this project more than ever. Due to COVID-19 the poor and the deserving communities have gone way below the poverty line as they have very less opportunities to earn and very few sources of income. This is the most appropriate time to help the women in these communities to learn some skills and help support their families. The skill trainings will be helpful for the women, as once they will learn them, they will be able to earn through it. The women will be able to support their families in this COVID-19 situation when people have very less earning sources and are going through a tough time. This will not only help the women to support and help their families but will also empower them as they will be helping in the increase of family income. Hence this will earn them more respect in the family.
Joy Foundation is looking forward to receive donations for this project so we can support the deserving families by empowering the women to earn for themselves and their families as well. The funds that we will receive for this project will go directly to the support of the deserving communities and help them and support them during this time when they need the support more than ever.

Women Empowerment Program for Rural Women

Joy Foundation has been working for the women empowerment since 2009. We have conducted various activities with women and empowered them with different skills. These skills have helped these women start up their own business and support their family income. Many women were given skills of sewing, tailoring, cloth designing and embroidery. They used these skills for the uplift of their situation through increase in family income. The families are very thankful to Joy Foundation for providing skills to the women who are now contributing to the family income and contributing towards the poverty reduction goal.
We need a lot of support for the rural women. The funds that we collect will be directly used for the uplift of the rural women. These funds will support these women to gain skills, start up their own business and thus support their families. This will contribute to the poverty reduction and lives will be much easier for these poor families. Because we believe that if you have a skill than you can utilize that skill earn enough for yourself as well as your family. we hope that soon we start receiving funding for this project so we can support these women and provide them with skills and help them support their families.
