Women Empowerment Program in Rural Women

Joy Foundation is working for upliftment of the women from long time in Toba Tek Singh and his surrounding areas. Main purpose is to make them able to do everything themselves and try to be a part of different department independently. We are try to make them able to working like male and help their families in their economics issues.  Joy Foundation started many skill training centers to learn skills and have a better future. The Joy Foundation is working hard and has women and girls groups that help the Joy Foundation run these centers for the girls.

Pakistan is going through days when women empowerment initiatives are the most in need. Particularly in rural women who lack awareness and opportunities. Joy Foundation aims to empower these women particularly now when rape and sexual harassment cases are being highlighted all over the country. Not only this but domestic violence is also going out of hand and women without awareness are going through a lot and tolerating such behaviors.

Joy Foundation wants to give voice to these women who lack awareness and motivation to take a stand for themselves. It is high to focus on these issues because very few organizations look into these complicated matters. But it is important to uplift these rural women so that they can have awareness and opportunities to speak for themselves. The women of today’s era do not give up themselves for domestic violence. We need to empower the rural women to stand for themselves and take initiatives to tackle domestic violence. Hopefully we will have enough funds to start this initiative.
