In Argentina 7 of 10 women-led families, often by single mothers, face poverty and insufficient living conditions. This comes from the inequality of educational opportunities for women, and the lack of social support. The Pequenos Pasos Women's Workshop addresses these issues by providing an opportunity for women to increase their education, widen job opportunities, their ability to work in groups, and feel more empowered in their capabilities.
This workshop is organized into four modules in which the women will collectively be coached. These include: what limits them from becoming leaders, how to be their own protagonist, developing hard skills for entrepreneurship and management, and gaining soft skills through teamwork. The workshop is ushered by meeting with a professional mentor periodically to establish a personal goal and work through the steps necessary to complete it.
The project will educate 90 women allowing them to rise out of poverty, which will provide for their families' health and well-being.
