Summary

Despite extreme weather conditions and heavy snowfall, Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers are actively engaged in snow clearance and emergency relief activities in Tirah Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Currently, more than 1,000 families have been displaced due to ongoing security issues and are facing severe hardship amid harsh winter conditions.

Alkhidmat is providing food supplies, warm bedding, winter clothing, sweaters, medicines, and basic medical assistance to affected families and children.

Story / Update

Tirah Valley is experiencing one of the harshest winters in recent years, with several feet of snow blocking roads and cutting off access to basic services. The situation is further worsened by security challenges that have forced over 1,000 families to flee their homes, leaving them vulnerable to extreme cold, hunger, and illness.

In response to this humanitarian emergency, Alkhidmat Foundation mobilized its volunteers to clear snow from roads, enabling access for relief operations. Alongside snow removal, Alkhidmat teams are distributing food items, warm bedding, winter clothes, sweaters, and essential medicines, while also providing first-aid and basic medical support to families and children.

These efforts are proving lifesaving, especially for children, women, and the elderly who are most at risk during severe winter conditions. Community members have expressed deep gratitude for Alkhidmat’s presence during this critical time.
