Title: Winter Packages Distributed to Sikh Community Families in Nankana Sahib
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation distributed winter packages to 200 deserving families from the Sikh community in Nankana Sahib to help them protect themselves from the harsh winter conditions. This initiative reflects Alkhidmat’s commitment to inclusive humanitarian support, ensuring relief reaches vulnerable families regardless of faith or background.
Story / Update
As severe cold grips many parts of Pakistan, vulnerable families in Nankana Sahib—especially those with limited income—face serious challenges in keeping warm. Children, elderly individuals, and women are particularly at risk of winter-related illnesses.
To address this urgent need, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a winter relief distribution for deserving families from the local Sikh community. Each winter package contained essential items such as warm blankets, quilts, shawls, and winter clothing to provide immediate protection against the cold.
The families expressed deep appreciation for this timely support, highlighting the spirit of compassion, harmony, and solidarity that such initiatives promote within the community.
