Happy Spring - Well, almost!
While the calendar says Spring Began on Wednesday, it was also the Full Moon, so, we are late with our update, and the temps are late in rising!
In light of the tremendous natural disasters happening around the world, we are grateful for the help this wonderful GlobalGiving Community provides to our brothers, sisters and animal friends around the world. Often, it seems we do not say "Thank You" enough, though, every donor receives a personal letter from me and the Pack for your generous contribution, we want to thank the management of GlobalGiving for this fundraising platform! Join us in a "group howl" - Arrrrooooooo!
Full Moon Farm, Inc, Wolfdog Rescue and Sanctuary is in it's 17th year of operation. Some things have changed within the organization, but the need remains the same - wolfdogs are still in being rescued, still provided sanctuary and veterinarian care. Because of YOU, our supporters, we can continue our mission. Currently, more than 50 wolfdogs are in our care, and we have been able to assist other wolfdogs through networking, transporting, lending experience to fledgling organizations, and safe capture techniques to help "at risk" wolfdogs.
In the past year, we upgraded the diets of our residents to a healthier grain free kibble, because of your continued support. Our animals seem to be thriving on the new food with excellent coat conditions!
The slightly warmer temperatures have started the "great shed". The volunteers newest song is - "If it isn't covered in fur, it isn't ours", with regard to clothing!
So, in closing, THANK YOU to all involved with helping people and animals, either with your donations or boots on the ground. We are all one pack of compassionate Beings.
Joyous Howls from the mountain,
Nancy, our volunteers and our pack of wolfdogs
