As the first snow of the season is making it's way here, it seems like a good time to reflect on 2017 and give "Thanks" to all our volunteers, the animals for sharing their lives with us, and you, our supporters.
We said "Goodbye" to many seniors this year, and welcomed in an equal number of new rescues. Mani, our Elder, left our care and crossed over The Rainbow Bridge to join his belived Marion, who predeceased him. Our Grande Dame, Miss Ursa joined her life partner Cyrus on The Other Side. Goodbyes are always difficult, but loving the animals enough to let them go is the final rescue we can do.
We said "Hello" to Prince, Rain, Louie, Blanca, Roux, Sassy, George, Sprite, Finnegan, LeStat, Mesa, Ruger, and Miss Winter.
We are thankful to our skilled volunteers who agreed to become lifetime foster parents to Roux, Sassy and Mesa.
Full Moon Farm Wolfdog Rescue and Sanctuary was founded in 2002, incorporated as a non profit in September of that same year, and granted 501 (c) (3) status in February 2004. We have been located at the same address these 15 years, and are still an ALL VOLUNTEER, NO KILL ORGANIZATION. No salaries are paid, and our budget "literally" goes to the dogs!
We depend on volunteers who love the animals and care enough to donate one or two days a week to help care for them, attend fundraising events, assist in veterinarian farm calls or office appointments, keep our Facebook Pages going and create and monitor our website.
YOUR continued support has kept an average of 54 dogs fed and housed, loved and cared for, and without YOU, or donors, we could not keep going. Because of your kindness, we have been able to upgrade to a totally grain free diet for our rescues! We have switched to Victor Hero Canine kibble and the results have been amazing.
I am sharing some pictures and hope you will check in on our Facebook Pages, Full Moon Farm Wolfdog Sanctuary, River The Ambassadog and Karma, the 'mythunderstood" Husky, as we all our YouTube Channel - Full Moon Farm Wolfdog Rescue.
May you be Blessed beyond measure this Holiday Season as we feel we have been by your generosity.
Joyous Howls from The Mountain!
Many thanks,
Nancy, the Board of Directors, the Volunteers and the 54 residents
