Making Birch Baskets
Camp Forest has provided a space for children to connect and learn about nature for more then a decade. Expanding Opportunites for children in the economically disadvantaged county of Waldo in rural maine. Giving scholarships to economically impoverished families who would otherwise never have this opportunity, Camp Forest puts value in the growing years of children to have a strong base in our ecology, and given the opportunity to have alot of attention of teaching and mentoring in their growing years of development, preserving and teaching skills and knowledge of the natural world that is being lost. We have provided a connection of all cultures of the region through outdoor activites that are common to all cultures of this planet. Creating a Global intercultural community of connection and awareness with our planet Earth.

July 13 - July 17 Earth Girls Camp Join us for a special new all-girls camp with fabulous women mentors! In this relaxed and fun environment, you can make friends with other girls while you explore the wilderness, play games, sing songs, make fires, carve, and do all the crafts and skills we love at Camp Forest. We'll decide together what we want to do each day so that everyone has a great time! Girls of all ages can support and learn from each other as we experience the wonderful feeling of being in a truly empowering space. Come prepared to sing, share stories, climb trees, swim, sneak up on each other, and get comfortable getting dirty as we play all day in the forest together! Ages 7 and up.
