Ornithological society "Nase ptice"("Our Birds") for almost two decades now, is dedicated in preserving wildlife and bird habitats. Very often we came across injured and orphaned wild birds. Vultures, eagles, buzzards, owls, herons, storks... life of every individual is important in order to preserve wildlife. With the help of you that care our goal is to establish care centers for wild birds that will cover all the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Houndreds of birds will return to the wild.
Ornithological society "Nase ptice" ("Our BIrds"), together with our peer organization partners, is dedicated in preserving the wildlife in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Wildlife rehabilitation services are not funded by the government or part of programs that is funded by fondations. Without the support of you, individuals, naturelovers and businesses our society would not be able to maintain dedication of our stuff and volunteers to jump in and take care of every wildbird in need.
After receiving emergency veterinary treatment comes rehabilitation stage till total recovery and returning into the wild. Estublishing of wild bird care centers will solve problem of accomondation of wild birds in recovery stage. Our goal is to form a care centers in four regions that will cover the teritory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Hundreds more suffering birds have a chance to be saved and returned to their wild habitats. Growing network of people who are inspired and educated to response on call for help to rescue a wild animal or bird. This network will stay dedicated in protecting the environment and coexistance of humans and wildlife, for better future for our planet.
