Wigs for a smile

Dear friends and supporters,

Your kindness continues to transform lives in remarkable ways. Thanks to your unwavering support, we have been able to bring comfort, confidence, and hope to children facing difficult medical journeys.

During this reporting period, we crafted four new wigs, while one additional wig is currently in production, ready to become a source of strength for another little girl in need. Each wig is carefully handmade with compassion, carrying far more than hair. It carries encouragement, dignity, and a reminder that no one faces their journey alone.

These wigs will soon reach their new owners in Sarajevo, Bosanska Krupa, Gradiška, and Lukavac. Ranging in age from 8 to 23 years old, they are navigating challenges far beyond their years. They are bravely facing diagnoses including grade III astrocytoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, diffuse glioma, and alopecia areata. Behind every diagnosis is a unique story, and with every wig, we hope to help restore a sense of normalcy and self-confidence during treatment and recovery.

This period also included two wig repairs, ensuring that the children and young people who already received their wigs can continue to rely on them throughout their journey. Every repair reflects our commitment to providing long-term support whenever it is needed.

We are especially grateful for the incredible generosity shown through 451 hair donations. Every ponytail represents a deeply personal act of compassion. Together, these donations make it possible for us to continue creating natural-hair wigs that help children feel like themselves again.
