Since January of this year, widows from Janjeva have the opportunity to receive food and hygiene packages thanks to the donations that you donors are giving every month. Considering that Janjeva is a very multi-ethnic country, and for us as TIP the second biggest beneficiaries are from Janjeva, we have decided to include them in this project and help .
The last war in Kosovo has affected that some of these women have been widowed, some from natural deaths and some from various diseases. Regardless of which, these women have remained widows and it is very difficult to become both mother and father for their children.
Mona is a woman from Janjeva of the Croatian community who has been alone for 7 years after her husband died of an incurable disease. She lives together with her 5 children and it is very difficult for her to raise the children alone as the economic conditions are not good and no one works as her children are still small.
Many other women unfortunately have the same fate as Mona, where they are forced to take the burden to feed, raise and educate their children without feeling the absence of their father, even though this is impossible.
