Dear Friends,
The home visits continue to be maintained as an important activity in the "Where Dreams Bloom" project. Program staff regularly visit families to better understand the living conditions of the girls and identify any issues that may affect their education. This allows the program staff to provide timely support to help the girls overcome difficulties. Additionally, through these visits, program staff can quickly address and resolve emerging family issues, ensuring that necessary assistance is provided. As a result, home visits consistently receive positive feedback from families, especially those who are often busy earning a living and have little time to talk with their children.
In addition to the home visits, AAT has organized several other activities to support the community and the students in the "Where Dreams Bloom" project. Specifically, AAT organized a kick-off meeting at the beginning of the year to connect families and program staff, creating opportunities for parents and students to share their thoughts, hopes, and challenges in life.
Furthermore, AAT has conducted career orientation activities to help parents and students better understand various professions and future development opportunities, thereby broadening their perspectives and career paths for the students.
AAT also ensured to visit beneficiaries when they are hospitalized, showing care and attention for members of the project who are facing health challenges, helping them feel reassured and supported during difficult times.
Lastly, AAT launched a zero-interest loan program, supporting families and parents in financial difficulties so they can improve their livelihoods and provide a better learning environment for the students.
Additionally, AAT organized a sexual education activity for students aged 6 to 18 in the "Where Dreams Bloom"project. Students aged 6 to 12 participated in the topic "Puberty and Safe Internet Use", helping them better understand the changes during puberty and how to use the internet safely. Meanwhile, students aged 12 to 18 engaged in the topic "Things to Understand about Gender and Sexuality", which provided them with a comprehensive and accurate understanding of gender and sexuality issues, while equipping them with necessary knowledge to protect themselves.
Additionally, peer counselors continued to reach out to and support women who are practicing, providing necessary conditions to assist their work and help them overcome difficulties in their lives.
AAT also organized an activity of making clay art using air-dry clay, a creative activity that helped the students enhance their artistic abilities and creativity, providing them with joy and an opportunity to express themselves through unique artistic creations.
Thank you for your continued support in empowering these girls. Your care and generosity are making a significant difference in their lives. We wish you and your family a happy new year! May the new year bring you love, laughter, and joy.
