The Where Angels Play Foundation is proud to report that, thanks to our generous donors, we were able to complete our mission of building the Playground Celebrating the Life of Owen Taraskiewicz earlier this spring! It was constructed in his hometown of Aberdeen, NJ, at the school he attended. Cambridge Park Elementary School, a place that Owen loved so dearly, is now fully-equipped with a brand new red, white, and blue playground structure.
Owen's classmates are currently testing out (and loving!) the playground leading up to the official ribbon-cutting - which will take place the morning of June 3, 2016 at Cambridge Park Elementary School.
As spring turns to summer, Where Angels Play is looking ahead to builds in Orillia, Ontario (Canada) and Tinton Falls, New Jersey in honor of Jacob Noble and Hannah Duffy respectively. Both Jacob and Hannah battled against debilitating diseases in their short lifetimes, but in showing strength and resovle well beyond their years they were able to inspire their entire communities. Building these two playgrounds - in their honor, and in their image - will ensure that they will never be forgotten and never stop being an inspiration to all.
Where Angels Play would like to thank all of its donors throughout the year (and always) for their support. We encourage you all to share our story so that we may continue to bring communities and families together for years to come.
