Bangladesh faces disaster after disaster - floods, cyclones, and riverbank erosion displace millions every year. OBHIZATRIK Foundation has been on the ground within 48 hours of every major disaster since 2014. This standing emergency relief fund enables us to move without delay when the next crisis strikes, reaching 1,000 families with food, water, shelter materials, and medicine before any other organisation arrives.
Bangladesh faces frequent floods, cyclones, and climate disasters that leave thousands of vulnerable families without food, shelter, clean water, or medical support. Remote and low-income communities are often the last to receive emergency assistance, increasing the risk of hunger, illness, displacement, and long-term poverty after every disaster.
OBHIZATRIK Foundation operates a rapid emergency response programme that delivers food, clean water, hygiene kits, shelter materials, and recovery support to disaster-affected families within 48 hours. With trained field teams active across multiple districts, the project ensures fast, organised, and community-based humanitarian assistance during emergencies.
The project will support approximately 1,000 disaster-affected families, reaching nearly 5,000 people with life-saving emergency assistance and recovery support. Families will gain immediate access to food, shelter, hygiene, and basic healthcare, helping them survive crises with dignity and rebuild their lives more quickly after disasters.
