Project Impact

Thanks to the generous support of donors, 7 hospitals across Ukraine have received neonatal ambulances and essential medical equipment. These upgrades are now saving lives every day—enabling safe emergency transport, supporting intensive care for preterm babies, and improving treatment outcomes for thousands of vulnerable children.

This project is not only about equipment. It's about hope, resilience, and protecting the most fragile lives in communities affected by war and systemic healthcare challenges.

As we close this report, we would like to share some touching stories that reflects the profound impact of neonatal equipment in saving the lives of newborns.

A Story of Hope and Survival

On June 14, 2024, I went into premature labor. Both my life and my baby’s were in serious danger. I vividly remember that day. I was rushed to the regional perinatal center in critical condition, as I later learned from the doctors. During the emergency C-section, the operating room was full of medical staff, including the heads of the neonatal intensive care unit and the maternity ward, who were prepared with various types of medical equipment, including the ATOM Air Incu neonatal incubator.

The next day, I asked to see my tiny miracle. My daughter, Myroslava, was lying in the ATOM Air Incu—so small, so fragile—connected to a ventilator. The nurses, assistants, and the head of the department, Ala Ivanivna—these incredible women treated my daughter as if she were their own, gently and tirelessly doing everything possible to save her life.

We remained in the incubator for quite a long time, until both of us were finally out of danger. To this day, I silently thank everyone involved in saving our lives. Most of all, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the charitable foundation for supporting the perinatal center—because of this help, tiny lives like my daughter’s can be saved.

Today, nearly a year has passed. Myroslava can already sit, crawl, and even try to walk along the wall. She has started saying a few words.

Thank you for saving our happiness.

A Grateful Mother’s Story

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the medical staff of the Regional Perinatal Center for saving our baby boy.

Our son was born prematurely, but thanks to the swift and skilled actions of the obstetrics team, he came into this world alive, weighing just 900 grams.

What followed was a long and difficult battle for his life in the intensive care unit, where we were supported by an incredibly caring and professional team. For nearly two months, these dedicated specialists fought day and night to keep our little one alive.

We are especially thankful to the volunteers who provided the incubators—equipment that gives premature babies a real chance at life.

We are endlessly grateful to all of you for our joyful, smiling boy.
