Wheels of Change - A new project car

Dear Donors and Supporters,

We are delighted to share an update on our "Wheels of Change – A New Project Car" project.

While we are still at the beginning of this fundraising journey, we are grateful for the encouraging support we have received so far. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have successfully raised US$633 towards our overall fundraising goal of US$11,620.

Although there is still a long road ahead, every contribution has brought us one step closer to securing a dedicated project vehicle that will significantly strengthen our ability to serve vulnerable children and families across Kolkata.

At Tiljala SHED, transportation is not simply about moving from one place to another—it is about ensuring that children can access educational opportunities, healthcare services, emergency support, extracurricular activities, and community development programs without interruption.

A dedicated project vehicle will help our team reach underserved communities more efficiently, transport educational materials, coordinate activities across multiple locations, and respond quickly to urgent situations affecting children and their families.

The support received so far represents much more than a financial contribution. It reflects the trust and belief that donors have placed in our mission of creating brighter futures for children living in some of Kolkata's most vulnerable communities.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who has contributed and shared our campaign with their networks. We are encouraged by the positive momentum generated during these initial weeks and are optimistic about the future.

With continued support, outreach efforts, and community engagement, we are aiming to cross the US$1,000 milestone within the coming weeks. Reaching this milestone will be an important step toward achieving our ultimate goal and bringing this much-needed vehicle closer to reality. Every donation, regardless of size, helps move this project forward.
