Students in Wamunyu are eager to learn, but there are many barriers to their education including lack of resources, no electricity or running water at schools, and poor health and hygiene. Schools have packed classrooms with few textbooks and no electricity, which means no technology. Teachers are excited about learning and improving their teaching, but lack the needed resources to accomplish their goals.
