Exciting updates on SURVIVORS, & WeOwnTV Hub

Dear friends and supporters,

Thanks for all the support. We are thrilled to share this major milestone: SURVIVORS is now officially live at www.survivorsfilm.org and streaming for the public at no cost! We are proud to offer our Emmy and Peabody-nominated documentary—which presents a heart-connected portrait of Sierra Leone during the 2014 outbreak—alongside our WeSurvive oral history database entirely for free.

As communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda navigate a challenging ongoing outbreak, the need for grassroots trust, local leadership, and shared historical understanding remains deeply critical. Gifting the film and nearly one hundred hours of frontline personal footage directly to public health workers, educators, and communities is our way of helping support those on the front lines with compassion and solidarity.

Building on this momentum, we are working hard toward our 2026 launch of the WeOwnTV Digital Hub—an online platform designed to connect media makers directly with audiences, and foster a thriving network of independent creators.

We are currently closing in on our fundraising goal to build the robust web infrastructure and secure video hosting needed for this launch. You can support our effort to launch the new site HERE, or give directly to the GlobalGiving Ebola Crisis Relief Fund to support the much-needed relief efforts on the ground.
