Since our last report we have been chatting with local organisations (some big; some small) about isolation; loneliness and mental health across our community: we have shared our project work and have lookedat their ideas and discussed ours. Effective partnership working is a key aim for us.
Creative Minds promote the use of creative approaches and activities in healthcare; increasing self-esteem, providing a sense of purpose, developing social skills, helping community integration and improving quality of life. Bagshaw Museum is set within 36 acres of park and ancient woodland and boasts a Butterly House; an observatory and a fabulous 'Friends of Wilton Park' voluntary group.
Thanks to your support we have been able to plan a variety of sessions, working alongside these groups, at the Bagshaw Museum. These activities range from star gazing to walks and talks and relaxing with friends in the Butterfly House. These activities will commence in September, 2018 and we will share progress in our next report.
In the meantime, best wishes for the summer and thank you for your continued support.
