Loneliness & isolation: learning in partnership...
By Mark Griffin - Project Leader
Sing Out to Reach Out
It's some twelve months since we began our first GlobalGiving project, thanks to support from both yourself and the fabulous folk at GlobalGiving. The support we've received has really built our confidence, knowledge and capacity to make a difference in our local area.
During that time we've regularly let you know how we've been progressing. We include some inspiring images from our past year. I am delighted to let you know that we've raised further funds to allow us to continue our development work on this project into 2018. Thank you for your generous contribution.
As our project has centred around loneliness and isolation it's a delight to report that working in partnership with others has been the most enjoyable aspect of our work during 2017. We've worked alongside the Mission at Howden Clough Community Centre; Windmill Primary School; Songsational; Batley Girls' High School; Kirklees Council; The Great Get Together (Jo Cox Foundation); Batley Poets and many more organisations.
We look forward to continuing to develop enduring partnerships during 2018.
With thanks once again and best wishes for the year ahead.
