Welcome Campaign

• A Corporate team have celebrated Impact day on 25^th November involving children in art & craft making activities. The employees divided themselves into groups to conduct fun games class wise. Refreshments were provided to children. They also distributed prizes to the best drawing art. Black boards & stationary were donated to the School.
• Excursion - The children were taken to Nehru Zoological Park. The children were amazed to see the white peacock. They were feared to look snakes, reptiles, tiger, and lions closely. They enjoyed watching the Giraffe coming out of its cage as the cage was shorter than the height of Giraffe.   They even got to learn the patterns of animal life.
• Educational tour – The children visited Police Station to gather information about the working & the need of Police station. The Police Inspector have given a thorough information about various sub departments like Crime Room, Interrogation room, CCTV Surveillance room, Temporary Lock up, Counseling room, Arms room. The Information about the women safety through work of SHE team was given.
• A visit to dairy unit was a part of educational tour whereby the exposure was given to children about their functioning & enjoying the freshly made products. They took children around different units like Ice Cream manufacturing section,Ghee preparartion, flavoured milk unit, Butter & paneer preparation units. They have shown the dairy farm where 3000 buffaloes are sheltered.
• School Science Exhibition was held on 14^th December where students from near by schools visited along with their staff members. The employees from corporate team also had interaction with the students. Basic & simple experiments were performed by children. The theories & lessons of science were depicted on charts & thermocal sheets.

Independence day – Indian National Flag was hoisted in the presence of the chief guest, principal, staff and children. The students participated in various programmes like Speech delivery, Skit, Dancing & Singing for the Independence Day celebration. White was the dress code color. It was amazing to see the color of peace mixed with the TRI-COLOUR. Children were dressed up like Indian national leaders who fought for freedom and had a floor walk with dialogue delivery. The Director, HCHW has given motivational speech to encourage children to accept those leaders as their role models.  Our sincere thanks to satyanarayana sweets who have sponsored 300 nos refreshment packets for the day.   

Learning senses with ice cream – The UKG Students had activity for learning senses conducted by teacher. Ice cream was used to demonstrate the importance of five human senses. Example the smell could explain them the use of nose, the chilling of ice cream explained about the feel of the skin and tongue could give them the yummy taste of flavor of the ice cream    

Health & Hygiene session by staff of Taj Group of Hotels – we are thankful to the team of Taj Group of Hotel for their kind support. The staff of hotel hosted a daylong session for children where the environment related information was presented in the form of visual entertainment. Refreshments were provided for children along with Cake. They also donated L.E.D Tube lights & dustbins for each classroom. Toiletry material was also given.

Lunch party – One of the donors celebrated their daughter’s birthday by hosting lunch for the students.

Internship:  An intern studying in U.S did her 15 days of internship at HCHW.  She made a presentation on History of Hyderabad – Know Your City. The students have participated in the painting exercise depicting  historical monuments and personalities.
