In 2024, we sent out emails to over 8,000 members asking for donations. We received $ 350 which we spent on medicine, clothing and food.
In February, the Board of Directors met on Zoom and discussed new fundraising projects. We decided to send out flyers and to create a business card to distribute.
Overall, there has not been enough funds to accomplish our goals. When there is no food we offer the children warm water and chestnuts.
John Okinge went to visit several churches asking for funds..
The donations are so small that Pastor John went to work harvesting the crops near the village where he and the children live. He works until midnight.
I paid for an advertisement on Yelp and it was a waste of good money. People just do not seem to want to help.
In April one of the children got malaria an we were able to get medicine to safe his life. We are all very grateful and pray to God for help.
Despite all this, the children are in good spirits and grateful for having us care about them. He is much loved by our children and by me. If you can help our website is newbeginningstoday.us
