Thanks to the generous support of GlobalGiving donors, we have successfully distributed bicycles to students from rural communities who face long and difficult journeys to school. Beneficiaries were carefully selected in collaboration with school principals and teachers, prioritizing students from low-income families and those living far from school.
Since receiving bicycles, students are arriving at school more regularly and on time. Teachers have observed improved attendance and increased participation in class, as students are no longer exhausted from walking long distances.
The main challenge remains the high number of students who still need support. Due to limited funding, we are not yet able to provide bicycles to all students identified as vulnerable. In addition, we continue to monitor bicycle maintenance to ensure long-term use, especially in areas with rough roads.
We are deeply grateful to GlobalGiving and all donors for your continued support. Your generosity is helping students access education safely and with dignity. A simple bicycle is truly making a lasting difference in their lives.
