By making an average investment of $250 per household, IDE changes the lives of farmers and their families. In the six-month period from September 2005 to March 2006 alone, IDE programs reached a combined 46,780 full and partial participant households and 1,140 micro- and small enterprises, and generated $6,030,000 in additional net annual income for our rural customers. Over the past 25 years, IDE has impacted 17 million poor rural families.
A donation of $250, coupled with a $200 investment from a farming family over three years, results in an average net income increase of $300 per year for that family!
