More Than Water: Planting the Future of Our Communities
Every time we see a child holding a book about water conservation, we are reminded that our project has never been just about building a clean water system. Our vision has always been much greater.
We know that a pipeline can bring water to a community, but only an informed and committed community can protect that water for future generations. That is why, as we continue building the water system, we also invest in environmental education for children, youth, and families—promoting the protection of the watershed, the responsible use of water, and a deep sense of stewardship for this life-giving resource.
The photo we share today reflects that vision. These children are reading Juanita the Little Water Drop, discovering that every drop matters and that they, too, can become guardians of their community's water source. To us, this moment is just as meaningful as any engineering milestone, because we believe true sustainability is built when knowledge, responsibility, and community commitment grow together.
None of this would be possible without you.
To everyone who has donated, shared our story, or believed in this project—thank you. Your support is not only helping build a clean water system for hundreds of rural families in the Cangrejal River Watershed; it is also nurturing a new generation that understands protecting forests, water sources, and the environment means protecting their own future.
There is still work ahead before the system is complete, but today we can proudly say that we are already building something even more valuable: a culture of stewardship, responsibility, and hope.
Thank you for walking alongside us. Every contribution is creating a legacy that will continue to flow—just like water—for many years to come. Together, we are proving that access to safe water begins with infrastructure, but it endures through environmental education, community ownership, and the generosity of compassionate supporters like you.
