Good Cause Foundation continues to work closely with underserved communities across Uganda to improve access to safe and clean water. Our goal is to drill a community borehole in every village with a population of at least 1,000 people. This initiative is designed to bring clean water closer to households, significantly reducing the long distances—often traveled by women and girls—to collect water.
Access to safe water will help reduce waterborne diseases, improve overall health conditions, and increase school attendance, especially among children who previously spent hours fetching water. In addition, the project promotes productivity within communities and strengthens local ownership through the formation of water-user committees. We are also actively raising awareness on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices to ensure sustainable impact.
So far, we have received $5 from 3 generous donors. While this is a modest start, it reflects an important step forward in building momentum for this vital initiative.
We kindly ask for your continued support by sharing our project with your network and helping us keep this campaign active. Your advocacy and engagement play a critical role in helping us reach more supporters and bring clean water to communities in need.
Together, we can make safe water accessible for all.
