103 farmers preparation going on to cultivate rice on their lands
AHD working hard to bring sustainability in rural areas of Pakistan and in this regard farmers groups mobilized and taught about smart agriculture and bets practices to enhance the per acre yield and income of farmers in small land holdings. During 2nd quarter of 2024 AHD food security team mobilized 103 farmers in 07 village-based groups to prepare land and water channels to make ready to grow rice crop on small scale and help to grow good crop and increase in per acre yield during the rice season cultivation 2024.
Further AHD needs support to organize seed sowing and rice cultivation trainings in 103 farmers.

Ending poverty & rural communities’ development through smart agriculture
Pakistan facing multiple reason of floods, prices hike and inflation since COVID-19 hir hard all over the world and jammed all kind of business, schools and import and export, in Pakistan agriculture is one of key player helping in rural communities with staple food and other agro eco business, AHD helping rural poor communities with solutions and smart agriculture is one of the supportive and productive initiatives, AHD 500 farmers group in Thatta, Badin, Sujawal and Tando Muhammed Khan working on smart agriculture and promoting crops, vegetable and fruit trees on their small land holdings.
AHD in 2nd spell of 2024 helping 200 more farmers and formed village based CBOs and now meetings going on, needs more attention to help these village based farmers.

A time to make resilient families against climate and disasters.
AHD helping rural poor communities towards sustainable life and resilient families by helping natural agriculture practices and activities of water-resistant varieties and smart agriculture by women village leaders and focus on tree planation and water conservation. There is urgent need to help in water conservation, tree plantation and natural agriculture to support and build skills of small farmers.
For the next quarter AHD helping small farmers to promote water conservation and water-resistant varieties to plant, support this project
