Dear Friend,
Thanks to your generous support we are launching a new educational initiative, Know-HOW, for medical professionals working in the field of pediatric oncology.
The first 10 participants have already been selected. This weekend, they met in Kyiv to get acquainted with each other, the Foundation team, and discuss the curriculum.
These are doctors from different regions of Ukraine – pediatric oncologists/hematologists and other specialists involved in the treatment of childhood cancer. The program curriculum will last two years and include short-term international observership visits, a pediatric oncology/hematology course, attendance of international conferences, etc.
At the end of the program, participants will develop graduation projects, the best of which will receive grant funding.
Support and continuous professional development of medical personnel is one of the strategic directions of the Foundation. And we are proud of such motivated doctors who applied for the project. We thank our donors and partners for helping to raise the level of Ukrainian doctors. Children fighting cancer need the best help possible.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
