The Walk to Learn project continues to support children in rural communities who walk long distances to school without proper footwear. Many of these children face pain, injuries, and discomfort, which affect their ability to attend school consistently.
During this period, we reached out to underserved communities, distributed sandals to children in need, and encouraged them to stay committed to their education. This simple intervention has brought noticeable change—children now walk to school with greater comfort, confidence, and joy. Teachers have also observed improved attendance and participation.
Despite challenges such as limited funding and access to remote areas, we remain committed to expanding our reach. With continued support, we hope to reach more children and ensure that no child is hindered from learning due to lack of basic footwear.
