Challenge

"21 people die of hunger everyday; 783 million don't have access to clean water; 5.5 million die from polluted air every year". Winners or applicants of WAFA are those who are addressing these problems with nature based sustainable innovative low tech high impact proven solutions. Problems are due to greed, inequality, unethical business practices, etc but solution are from coming from kind, thoughtful, generous sustainability entrepreneurs who still have hope of saving their only planet Earth.

Solution

Solutions to global challenges are out there. Around the world, outstanding sustainable projects are there but they are silent-they do not have the resources to scale and replicate their innovative solutions. With this project we create a platform where projects will be matched with impact investors, Corporate Social Responsibility leaders, angel investors, or philanthropists. The project will get the technological tool that will enhance their visibility and showcase them to registered members

Long-Term Impact

Due to increased strategic exposure of the projects, many projects that could not take off due to lack of resources will have chance to scale and replicate. These sustainable solutions will be useful in combating the climate change. Positive message will spread and more people will adopt the sustainable measure and eventually WAFA winners and aspirants will follow them and this will spread the word like fire. This is important message & deserves a lot more exposure and commitment form all of us.
