Our annual volcano challenge raises much needed funds for local teacher salaries, daily food and fruit and utensils for our schools in Guatemala. The Challenge in 2011 was a great success and we are already looking forward to replicating this in 2013. This time around, all of the money raised will again go towards teacher salaries, especially as we plan to expand our legalisation program into Santa María. The challenge will be just as tough as always, seeing staff and volunteers scale 4 impressive volcanoes in Guatemala, however as always, it is so rewarding so see the difference the funds raised can make.
