Thanks to you, and 56 others who pledged toward our goal this month, we exceeded our goal and secured a spot on GlobalGiving's network. Thank you for making this a great "First" experience.
We are eager to continue serving the poor throughout Tijuana. The needs are great but not impossible. There are so many resources available to us here in the US. Collecting from just our waste alone is a great place to start.
Last week we were donated a couple pallets of frozen quesadillas. Over 3,000 in all. That's a lot of tortilla's and cheese!
Today we had a record load collecting fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, pre-cooked meals, bread and sweets. See the photo of my truck to get a good idea of what that might look like crossing the border!
