Manuel’s surgery went very well! Thank you for helping with your support and prayers for the correctional surgery on his feet and legs! He had to wear casts before and after the surgery, and they were just recently removed. And now he has physical therapy, helping him adjust to walking again. VOB is now raising funds to help Manuel’s cousin, Alexandra, with some needed surgery for a blocked gland in her eye, causing compromise to her vision. We appreciate your prayers and support for this need. Let us know if you would like to help. What a blessing to aid those in need, with medical care they could never consider otherwise!
Wayne got to visit Manuel with some get well flowers. He was so surprised to be given flowers in his bed! It was really cute. We also visited his auntie Jasmin with flowers, having just given birth to a new baby girl. And finally, we visited our friend Amelia with some flowers, as she had just sadly lost her son Christian, who was killed in a situation still unclear. Christian was a kind young man who was trying to do better, but honestly the odds against him in his circumstances, made rehabilitation challenging. A smile on Wayne’s face hoped to encourage our dear friend of many years, Amelia, who has suffered much in her life. Sometimes a kind word and a hug can help a person through almost anything. Your support also sends a message of kindness.
