Launch of the DLW + DOF Mentoring Program - July 2, 2025
We were pleased to announce the launch of our Mentoring Program, in partnership with DOF. This initiative represents a significant milestone for Dream Learn Work, expanding our impact by connecting young people in situations of social vulnerability with experienced professionals.
With DOF's support, we were able to structure a network of volunteer mentors committed to building a more just and inclusive future. The partnership has been fundamental in enabling regular meetings, generating real learning, and strengthening the journey of the young people supported by our organization.
"Circuito Mulher" (Women's Circuit) - July 3, 2025 - Mikkel
"Circuito Mulher" is a transformative experience that prepares women to face the challenges of modern life. It's organized by the "Instituto Muito Além de Cinderelas," which develops projects across Brazil and in all nine Portuguese-speaking countries. Mikkel participated in the Circuit with a lecture on the "Career with Purpose and Future Vision" track, called "Awakening Futures: Purpose and Career for the New Generations," in which he highlighted the activities promoted by Dream Learn Work to boost the careers of young women from the periphery in Brazil.
"Rede do Bem" (Network of Good) Forum - July 15, 2025
In July, we participated in the 27th "Rede do Bem" Forum, a meeting that brought together third-sector organizations and leaders engaged in promoting positive social impact. During the event, we fostered the exchange of experiences with various institutions, strengthening ties and enhancing our joint efforts to benefit the community.
IRS Tech - July 16, 2025
Dream Learn Work was present at IRS Tech 2025, an event by the Instituto Rogério Steinberg that highlights innovative artificial intelligence, technology, and creativity projects developed by the institution's talented young students.
Recruitment of Volunteers - July/2025 - Mikkel
In July, we recruited four volunteers to strengthen our work with their expertise. Each person will contribute to a different area of Dream Learn Work, taking our activities to another level with their efforts and dedication.
Ambev VOA - July 22, 2025
Launched in 2018, VOA is dedicated to leveraging the social impact of civil society organizations with the active participation of Ambev leaders who donate their time and knowledge by acting as mentors for partner organizations. Dream Learn Work was one of 80 Brazilian NGOs selected from over 700 applicants to participate in Ambev VOA in 2025 after a rigorous selection process.
IBPF Recruitment - August 7, 2025
In early August, we visited the first NGO we ever partnered with, Instituto Bola Pra Frente, to conduct a new recruitment of young people. It was inspiring to meet about 20 talented young people aged 18 to 21 and invite them to join our program so their lives can be transformed through quality education.
Rio Innovation Week - August 14, 2025
Rio Innovation Week is the largest global technology and innovation conference. We were invited by our partner Decola Cria, which is the Rio de Janeiro chapter of the Global Youth Network, to participate in the event. We were also able to attend very strategic lectures on how to promote the productive inclusion of young people from the periphery into the job market. Dream Learn Work was highlighted in one of Decola Cria's lectures as a strategic partner of the network, with our work being promoted at this major conference.
CONARH - August 21, 2025
The National Congress of People Management (CONARH) is the largest Human Resources event in Latin America and brings together professionals from the field to discuss trends, innovations, and share experiences. Mikkel was invited to speak on the topic of "Labor Legislation: Challenges and Opportunities." Once again, he brought the Dream Learn Work brand to a major stage, where hundreds of people could hear about the work developed at DLW to ensure a higher quality of life and reduce the violations of labor rights still committed against talented young people today.
Raízes de Gericinó Recruitment - August 26, 2025
We returned to Raízes de Gericinó to officially begin the partnership and recruit young people supported by the NGO to start their educational paths with Dream Learn Work. It was enriching to learn about the dreams of these young people and to know that, with our efforts, we can transform their lives through access to education.
Anniversary Event - August 27, 2025
On August 27, we celebrated another year of Dream Learn Work's journey, bringing together partners, supporters, and young participants in a moment of connection and celebration, with over 60 people in total. The program included an art exhibition by our ambassador Igor Izy, who brought a creative and inspiring proposal to mark the occasion. In addition to reminiscing about our history since 2006, the event strengthened ties with our network of collaborators and highlighted the impacts achieved over the years. It was a morning of great exchange, recognition, and inspiration, which motivates us to continue building paths of transformation for the young people we support.
