Hello our dear followers. This is our first report of 2024.
This year has started really well for our organization. The focus for this first trimester was to make the Individual monitoring and support with the students. In order to do this we organized visits to our partners organizations and scheduled individual meetings with each one of them. The individual monitoring and support of the students is an important moment for connecting and strengthening ties with the students, always seeking to improve our methods.
These were the dates of our visits to make the individual trial and monitoring of the students:
Completion of Yinson Project courses - 02/07/2024
15 young women completed the courses of: Administrative Assistant, Basic Excel, Human Development and Personnel Department. This project is made available by the partner YINSON, to further strengthen this great partnership and make positive impacts directly on young people with access to quality education.
Participation in the “Gol de Peneta” event - 02/28/2024
Dream Learn Work was invited to participate in this incredible tribute to some young students from the Karanba Social Institute who completed several courses. An event that is important to strengthen the bond between students and their families to build education within their dreams. This honor contained the “Gol de Peneta” award, an award that relates to the goals scored with a paper and a pen, representing educational development and preparation for the job market.
Presentation to DNV employees - 03/19/2024:
DLW was invited to present its project to our corporate partner DNV - one of the founders of DLW, which took the opportunity to formalize a new partnership with us and once again become investors. We were able to present our work to the company's employees and we invited 2 students to talk about their educational journey. It was an enriching moment and a great exchange and we are very happy with this new partnership that is beginning, strengthening our relationship and commitment.
Yinson project - closing activities I - 03/19/2024 (Reception, Coffee Break and HR Mentoring):
On March 19, 2024, Yinson kicked off the first of two closing events, providing a warm welcome and a Human Resources mentoring session. During the session, participants received personalized guidance on strategies for improving resumes, tips for successful interviews, and guidance on developing professional skills. The young girls who participated showed a strong interest in improving their skills and knowledge. The event was a success, contributing significantly to the professional growth of the participants and reinforcing Yinson's commitment to providing professional development opportunities.
Closing Activities II - 03/27/2024 (Networking Session):
On March 27, 2024, Yinson organized in partnership with DLW, a networking event for the 15 girls that had finished the courses in the administrative sector. The objective was to introduce them to potential employers, facilitating their entry into the job market. During the networking session, participants had the opportunity to establish connections with representatives from multinational companies. This interaction allowed them to share their experiences and skills, putting into practice the knowledge acquired during the first meeting. This event not only marked the successful completion of the courses that were offered for them, but also the beginning of a promising professional journey, making us form DLW very proud of their achievements.
