Education Unlocks Opportunities

By Karen Sparacio | Project Leader

At 20 years old, Taban is concluding his internship in plumbing with Kyambogo University after completing two years of studies.

Taban is one of more than two dozen young scholars that Project Have Hope has enrolled in vocational programs. Through our scholastic sponsorship program, we seek to provide students with the education and skills to create successful lives and build futures with unlimited possibilities that seemed unattainable from their impoverished upbringings.

With Taban’s newly acquired skills, he will easily be able to find work installing or maintaining plumbing apparatus. We look forward to his future successes.
We believe the best way to combat poverty is to provide vocational training opportunities so each person has the ability to learn a skill and gain employment and lift themselves up.  Please join us in creating sustainable and impactful change by making contributing to our campaign.
