Hugo is a master builder who lives in the municipality of Puerto Berrío Antioquia and has been working for 12 years. This municipality has historically been hit by issues of public order.
Hugo has been building his house little by little, since one of his greatest dreams is to give his daughters a home in good condition, a roof to shelter from the rain and have a dignified old age.
The arrival of the covid-19 pandemic stopped the plans of Hugo's family, he was left without a job and it was increasingly difficult to obtain sustenance and food for day to day, due to this event it has been difficult for him to achieve of the materials to continue with the construction of your home.
This situation generates sadness and affliction by not being able to provide health in such an important aspect as feeding their family because the kitchen they had in this home did not allow them to enjoy a healthy diet due to the conditions of the space and handling of food, therefore, physical and emotional health were also affected. However, little by little he has been organizing his home and adapting it within what is within his reach.
Being a beneficiary of this project that transforms lives has meant a dream come true for him since his home is his priority, as is for his wife to be able to prepare quality food for their daughters in a comfortable space specially designed for this function, thus improving your health conditions.
This is one of the 10 master builders who have been beneficiaries of the social project: Decent housing for master builders in Antioquia, with the provision of his kitchen, turning it into a decent space for everyone.
From the ParaConstruir Foundation we continue to deliver materials to our master builders who still do not have decent housing.
With your contribution we will continue to transform the lives of our master builders and their families.
